Deferred Payment Plans

Western will offer payment plans as follows;

Payment plans that include bills dated November 15th to March 15th, during the Cold Weather Time Frame, require the member to pay 50% of their balance on each bill to qualify for a payment plan.  Once outside the Cold Weather Time Frame, to qualify for a payment plan, all members will be required to pay their prior balance, which is the amount on the most recent delinquent notice. The member can then enter another payment plan by paying 50% of the rest of the balance on the account and the other 50% will be billed out in 4 installments, each installment will be in addition to the current charges.

To enter a payment plan involving the bills dated in April, May, and June, the member must pay 50% of their balance and the remainder will be billed out in 4 installments, in addition to the current charges on each bill.

To enter a payment plan involving bills dated in July, the member must pay 50% of the current balance and the remainder will be billed out in 2 installments, in addition to the current charges on each bill.

To enter a payment plan involving bill dated in August, the member must pay 50% of the current balance and the remainder will be billed out in 1 installments, in addition to the current charges on each bill.

Bills printed in September and October are not eligible for a payment plan, members are not allowed to carry more than a current balance due into the Cold Weather Time Frame (November 15th through March 15th).

Once a member has established a payment plan, their payments must be received by the due date listed on the bill, or they will be in default of the payment plan. A default means that the remaining balance of the payment plan will be added back onto the account, and it must be paid in full prior to entering another payment plan. The member will be given until the due date on the most recent disconnect notice to pay the balance or will be subject to disconnection for the amount printed on the most recent disconnect notice.
