WCE Awards Grant to Rush County EMS with Partnership

Western Cooperative Electric and the Golden Belt Community Foundation are proud to provide $3,750 in combined grant support to Rush County EMS for essential emergency medical equipment.

Western Cooperative Electric awarded a $2,750 Sharing Success Grant, with an additional $1,000 contribution from the Golden Belt Community Foundation.

Rush County EMS plays an essential role in the community, responding when residents need emergency medical care. This funding will help maintain and improve the equipment responders rely on to provide that care throughout Rush County.

“Supporting organizations like Rush County EMS is about more than providing a grant,” said Christina Hayes, Member Services Manager for Western Cooperative Electric. “These are the people who show up when our communities need help the most. We are proud to invest in the equipment that helps them do their jobs safely and effectively.”

This grant is a great example of what can happen when local organizations work together. By combining resources, Western Cooperative Electric and the Golden Belt Community Foundation are helping Rush County EMS continue its critical work of serving and protecting local residents.
