WCE Awards Grant to Trego County Fair Board
Western Cooperative Electric has awarded a Sharing Success Community Grant to the Trego County Fair Board to help fund a new HVAC system in the Commercial Building at the Trego County Fairgrounds.
The project includes replacing the building's outdated heating system, adding air conditioning, and installing new ductwork throughout the facility. Once completed, the improvements will provide a more comfortable, year-round space for the many events hosted in the building.
The Commercial Building serves as a hub for the community, hosting weddings, reunions, meetings, trainings, fundraisers, county fair events, school activities, and numerous other gatherings. The upgraded HVAC system will ensure the facility remains a welcoming and functional venue for residents and visitors alike.
"We're proud to support projects that have a lasting impact on the communities we serve," said Nolan Numrich, CEO/General Manager of Western Cooperative Electric. "This investment will help ensure the Commercial Building continues to be a valuable gathering place for years to come."
Western Cooperative Electric's Sharing Success Community Grant Program provides funding for projects that enhance the quality of life across the cooperative's service territory by supporting community development, education, health, safety, and facility improvements.
